Yhdessä is a Brooklyn-based design studio founded in 2024 by Rio Roye and Mariah Tarvainen. We work across a variety of scales and disciplines including visual identity, motion, publications, information design, and environmental graphics with clients in art, culture, and journalism. In addition to our joint practice, we regularly work with independent creatives from a wide range of fields.
Collaboration is central to our process. We eschew the “designer as auteur” studio model in favor of a dialogic approach that engages with our clients’ missions, expectations, and ways of working in order to build expressive, long-lasting design systems that are adaptable to their needs.
